Khorlo is a rhythm synthesizer where impulse rings spin around eight physically modelled strings. When a ring crosses a string, a sound is struck. It easily creates evolving polyrhythms, weird atmospheres, basses, and a lot of strange in between. There’s a 3D interface you grab directly. It looks like nothing else because Aaron drew it himself.
Khorlo is free, in open beta, with no account and no activation, for macOS, Windows and Linux.
