What’s saved
- Your email address, the day your account was made, and when you last signed in.
- Two cookies: one keeps you signed in, and the other only tells the page that you are, so the top of the page can say so. This site sets no others.
- When you ask for a sign-in email, the address it went to and the network the request came from, for one day, account or not. It stops anyone flooding an inbox.
- What you downloaded and when, for a year. It tells me which builds people use.
- The licenses you own, and a record of each purchase.
That is all.
Who else sees it
- Cloudflare runs this site and sends the sign-in emails.
- Mailchimp sends the newsletter, and only keeps your address if you are on it.
- YouTube plays the video on the Khorlo page, using its privacy-enhanced player. On a computer it starts, muted, when you scroll to it; on a phone, only when you tap it.
Your address is never sold or passed on to anyone else.
What you can do
- Leave the newsletter any time: the link at the bottom of every newsletter, or the switch on My products.
- Change your email, or delete your account, on My products. Deleting removes everything above except purchase records, which the law says I must keep, and sign-in requests, which go within a day as they always do. It also takes you off the newsletter. Mailchimp keeps an archived note that you left; write to me and I’ll have it erased too.
